From the “countryside” outside High Point, Drew is a Triad radio veteran, having started in the radio broadcasting business in 1993 at the age of 16. He began with dreams of having a show with his friends, and an endless parade of beautiful women. But, by age 22 — having the title of Traffic Reporter — his dreams gave way to a split shift grind, and being the de facto fix-it guy in the studio.
He continued in Triad radio during his 20s and 30s, having no other marketable skills except for a decent Myspace page.
Being a loyal P1 since the age of 14, joining the Rock 92 team in 2017 was a dream come true. Drew’s main job is taking care of the studio equipment and computer network, but enjoys being on-air overnights as the lead-in to the 2 Guys Named Chris Show.
Drew is an Acquarius, enjoys diner food, domestic bottled beer, and prefers the Bob Welch era of Fleetwood Mac.
